Dr. Sarita Gauri

Biography

Dr. Sarita Gauri is a dedicated medical professional, public health advocate, and social leader with expertise in Ophthalmology (Eye Care) and community healthcare. Holding MBBS and M.S. (Ophthalmology) qualifications, she has devoted her career to improving public health services, preventive eye care, and promoting accessible healthcare for communities. Currently serving as an Additional Senior Medical Officer (ASMO) with the Government of Haryana, Dr. Gauri has extensive experience in clinical practice, healthcare administration, and public health service. Her work reflects a strong commitment to patient care, medical ethics, and strengthening healthcare delivery systems. Dr. Gauri has also served as the Former President of Yuva and Sewa Foundation (YASF), where she played an instrumental role in guiding the Foundation's vision, expanding community outreach, and strengthening initiatives focused on health awareness, education, women empowerment, and social development. Under her leadership, the Foundation further advanced its mission of serving society through compassion, volunteerism, and sustainable community engagement. As a Member of the Advisory Board of Yuva and Sewa Foundation (YASF), Dr. Gauri continues to provide strategic guidance on healthcare, preventive medicine, women and child welfare, public health awareness, and institutional development. Her experience in both healthcare and nonprofit leadership significantly strengthens the Foundation's efforts to create healthier, empowered, and socially responsible communities.
