Biography

Sahil Aggarwal is a renowned social entrepreneur, educationist, and institution builder dedicated to advancing higher education, youth leadership, innovation, and nation-building. As the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rishihood University, he has played a transformative role in creating a values-driven university ecosystem that combines academic excellence, entrepreneurship, leadership development, and social impact. As a Member of the Advisory Board of Yuva and Sewa Foundation (YASF), Sahil Aggarwal contributes strategic expertise in education policy, institutional development, youth empowerment, innovation, and leadership. His guidance strengthens the Foundation's mission of empowering young people through quality education, skill development, volunteerism, and sustainable community development across India. With a strong belief that education should create ethical leaders and responsible citizens, Sahil has worked extensively to build institutions that connect academia, industry, government, and civil society. His leadership reflects a commitment to developing future-ready learners while promoting inclusive growth and social responsibility. Beyond Rishihood University, Sahil serves as Co-Chairman of the National Education Committee at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) and is a Member of the CII National Committee on Design, contributing to national discussions on education, innovation, and policy reform. He is also a Trustee and Board Member of Gateway Education, Sonipat, supporting initiatives that strengthen educational excellence and institutional leadership. An alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, Sahil holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, a Master's degree in Diplomacy, and has served as a Visiting Scholar in Urban Governance at Indiana University Bloomington, USA. His multidisciplinary background enables him to bridge technology, governance, education, and public policy. A respected thought leader, Sahil regularly contributes articles on education, public policy, leadership, and institution building. He is the co-author of a book on public policy and co-created "Manifesto," an innovative civic-learning card game designed to promote democratic participation, civic awareness, and political literacy among young citizens.
