Samutkarsh 1.1: Empowering Students Through Education and Career Counseling

The initiative achieved broad reach by welcoming participants from the most remote stretches of the district, ensuring that geographically marginalized students received access to high-level academic guidance. The program was graced by Chief Guest Mr. B.M. Rawat, Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Karira, and Keynote Speaker Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Chahal from the Central University of Haryana, Mahendragarh. Both speakers offered grounded perspectives on navigating the modern educational landscape, maintaining academic discipline, and developing a sense of civic obligation. Total attendance reached 221 individuals, comprising 64 primary student beneficiaries, 100 enrolled students from Scheduled Caste backgrounds currently studying across local institutions, 42 parents and guardians, and 15 general community members. This broad participation highlighted a growing community interest in structural educational support outside traditional classroom boundaries.

A core focus of 'Samutkarsh 1.1' was moving beyond motivational discourse into actionable, long-term educational planning. In line with financial principles suggested by Mr. Krishan, the entire program was executed under a strict model of fiscal discipline and operational simplicity, demonstrating that high-impact community events do not require extravagant spending. The seamless coordination of the project was managed by a dedicated 14-member organizing team, including Puran Singh Yadav Ramdhari (CEO), Jitendra, Sunil, Snehlata, Ajit, Lalchand, Jitu Srivastava, Vivek, Pravin, Asha, Manisha, Juhi, Naveen, and Monika. Their efforts ensured that logistical support, attendee management, and schedule execution proceeded smoothly, setting a standard for future community outreach programs.

Following the main speeches, convener Mr. Jagdev Yadav convened an interactive 30-minute strategic dialogue with all attendees, laying out the foundation’s immediate road map. Central to this vision is the establishment of student-led service centers across various villages, intended to build local leadership and encourage peer-to-peer educational support. Furthermore, the Young and Service Foundation announced that starting next month, it will roll out specialized career foundation modules, standardized psychological assessment tests, and personalized counseling sessions tailored to individual student strengths. Coupled with commitments to provide essential learning materials and academic supplies, 'Samutkarsh 1.1' established a functional model for rural youth development, leaving a measurable impact on the students, families, and communities of Mahendragarh.
