Sewa-Prabodhan at CCS HAU | Yuva and Sewa Foundation

CCS HAU Hosts Yuva and Sewa Foundation’s "Sewa-Prabodhan": “Youth Are Not Merely the Nation's Future—They Are Its Living Present”

In an inspiring congregation dedicated to national rejuvenation and youth empowerment, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCS HAU), Hisar, in collaboration with the Yuva and Sewa Foundation, organized the university-level session of ‘Sewa-Prabodhan’ at the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology Auditorium.

The convention gathered hundreds of university scholars, faculty members, and grassroots change-makers to spark a powerful commitment: channeling the boundless vigor, intellect, and creativity of youth into self-reliance, social transformation, and selfless nation-building.

The symposium was inaugurated with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and the stirring strains of the national song Vande Mataram, graced by Chief Guest and Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. B. R. Kamboj, Keynote Speaker and grassroots reformer Shri Anoop Singh Bhali, Special Guest Shri Kamal Saraf (State Vice President, Sewa Bharati), College Dean Prof. Ajay Kumar Vashisht, and Foundation Trustee Shri Vinod Kumar.

Transformative Voices: Empowering Words from the Dignitaries

1. “Technology Empowers, but Moral Conscience Leads: Be the Architects of India 2047” – Prof. B. R. Kamboj (Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, CCS HAU)

Delivering the presidential address, Prof. B. R. Kamboj issued a resounding call for self-reflection and conscious action:

  • The Present Belongs to You: “Do not postpone your purpose to tomorrow. You are not just the future of this nation; you are its vital present. The vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ rests firmly on the conviction and drive in your hands today.”

  • Conscience Over Algorithms: In an era governed by rapid digital shifts and artificial intelligence, machines may deliver raw information, but only the human spirit and grounded ethics can deliver discernment, empathy, and wisdom.

  • The Living Spirit of Sewa: Service does not require extraordinary platforms—it begins with everyday discipline. Respecting family institutions, avoiding food and water wastage, maintaining civic cleanliness, and extending a quiet helping hand to a peer is where true leadership stars.

2. “Rise Above the Scrolling Culture: Build Communities, Break Barriers” – Shri Anoop Singh Bhali (Grassroots Reformer & Keynote Speaker).

With powerful real-world case studies from rural Haryana, Shri Anoop Singh Bhali moved the auditorium with an urgent appeal to action:

  • Conquer Distraction, Unleash Impact: “With smartphones in our palms, we hold the world’s knowledge, yet hours vanish in mindless reels. Imagine the revolution if that exact digital energy and innovative spark were directed toward solving real community challenges.”

  • The ‘Each One, Teach One’ Revolution: Recalling the transformation of Bhali Anandpur village—where local students converted village commons into vibrant community residential libraries—he urged every university student to adopt and mentor at least one underprivileged learner: “When youth teach youth, education ceases to be a privilege and becomes a people’s movement.”

  • Courage, Sports, and De-Addiction: Urging youth to shun substance abuse and take to sports fields, he highlighted that grounds instill resilience, discipline, and unity—qualities indispensable for enduring leadership.

  • Agri-Innovation & Self-Reliance: From transforming stubble into clean bio-gas (CBG) and launching community kitchen gardens to running "One Village, One Product" hubs, he proved that youth-led enterprise can bring dignified prosperity right to village doorsteps.

3. “Sewa Knows No Age: Youth is the Golden Hour of Contribution” – Shri Kamal Saraf (Special Guest)
  • The Supreme Offering of Time and Energy: Citing ancient wisdom from the Bhagavata Purana, he reminded the audience that charity extends far beyond money. The most sacred gift a student can offer society is their talent, focused time, and passionate labor.

  • Purpose Over Procrastination: “Dispel the myth that service is reserved for retirement. When you cultivate the habit of selfless contribution in your youth, success and inner fulfillment naturally walk beside you throughout your journey.”

Yuva and Sewa Foundation: A Movement of Compassion and Leadership.
Sharing the foundation's decade-long odyssey since its inception on September 11, 2016, Trustee Shri Vinod Kumar outlined how the organization has evolved from a grassroots initiative into a dynamic social mission.

Flagship pillars include:

  • Sewa Samidha:  community-driven educational coaching centers across NCR, Delhi and Haryana.

  • Utkrisht & Gyanodaya: Competitive study facilities, book banks, and dynamic libraries.

  • Nyaya Shakha: Grassroots legal literacy and amicable conflict-resolution systems.

  • Aarogya Mitram: Dedicated rural health camps, wellness counselling, and active de-addiction drives.

  • Samutkrash: Merit scholarships and mentorship empowering underprivileged and rural talent.

  • Spark Plug: Empowering youth with digital media skills to create constructive, socially impactful content.

  • Swabhiman: Fostering self-reliance and dignified livelihoods through skill development and entrepreneurship.

  • Utkarsh : Providing dedicated study centers, resources, and quality guidance for competitive exam aspirants.

  • Sewa Prabodhan: Inspiring youth toward civic responsibility, selfless service, and active nation-building.

  • Prakriti Sewa : Driving environmental stewardship through mass tree plantation, water conservation, and eco-friendly living.

A Shared Pledge for a Resilient Nation

The session concluded with an expression of gratitude delivered by NSS Coordinator Dr. Bhagat Singh and Dean Prof. Ajay Kumar Vashisht, followed by the National Anthem. The hall reverberated with collective resolve as hundreds of young scholars pledged to dedicate their talents, discipline, and time to lifting society and driving the nation toward sustainable self-reliance.
